hello, and welcome to this edition of cctv news, i am katie in beijing.
Chinese and US officials on thursday have discussed the possibility of negotiations with North Korea to formally end the korean war,
North Korea wants to renew the peace treaty with washington, which dates back from 1950-1953 conflict period.
But after the meeting on thursday with chinese vice foreign minister Wu Dawei, US envoy Christopher Hill reiterates his stance on north korea's nucler issue.
If DPRK doesn;t give up its nucler ambitions, sanctions from the US must be followed.

Write three pitches that you and some classmates can actually produce with the time and resources available to you.

The audience will be English speaking You Tube viewers. Your pitch should offer them something they cannot see elsewhere. This means slice of life and human interest stories are OK, but try to come up with some hard issue pieces or stories related to breaking news as well. Foreigners love to hear about: The Olympics, counterfeit or dangerous products, the environment and global warming, martial arts, student trends, China's economy, interesting tourist destinations, and anything unusual or surprising. Think about a story you would like to hear about in another country, and try it here.

Also think about the big stories in the world, and look for a Chinese connection. Are there Iraqi students here? Does China have an Islamic insurgency? What do Chinese students think about the US presidential race? Who is in charge at the Palestian Embassy here now that the Palestinians have split amid civil war?

Your pitch should include the names of the people you plan to interview, and the shots you plan to include.

1,Recently there was an actress who put video on her blog, the content was sexul scene with famous directors. I happen to know a lot of actors ,directors and producers who knew the involved persons, I wanna interview them to seek truth, meanwhile, I will interview a professor teaching directing in Beijing Film Academy to talk about the "casting couch"phenomenon both in China and the US

My brother is in charge of marketing of China Open tennis tournament, i wanna interview him about the sponsors , and how do they prepare for the 2008, Competing with the olympic, How do they attract foreign sponsors.

3,The rise of pock price was surging earlier this year, and now it's going to go down and become stable. Foreign viewers could be interest in the infact inflation has exert on chinese' daily life, so i would like to interview common chinese at supermarkets to explore their response.

COMMENT:
Overall, it is quite good piece of report, with plenty of statistics and quotes, it's
comprehensive.
but i we think it's still a little bit one-sided. it lack chinese government official release although she interviewed some officials.
what's more, althought she visited the places herself, but, it's only a small part, it don't speak for the whole country.
